UPDATE - Trash / Recycling will be today, April 5thFriday, April 5th, Trash & Recycling pick-up. We have called Archie's and they are uncertain at this time on status of Friday's pickup with the forecast being heavy snow. We will be calling on Friday morning to update pickup status.With the heavy snow forecast, please do not put your trash or recycling out until at least Friday morning. Otherwise it may get buried. Three Weeks Left to Apply for FEMA AssistanceSOUTH PORTLAND, Maine. – Homeowners and renters in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Oxford, and Somerset counties who have uninsured damage to their property or other disaster-caused losses from the severe storm and flooding from December 17-21 have only three weeks left to apply for disaster assistance.The deadline to apply for disaster assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is April 1.There are several ways to register:Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
